Recyclable waste : Ecotri Solutions Sàrl collects a wide range of recyclable household waste, including :
- Paper and cardboard : newspapers, magazines, envelopes, cardboard packaging, etc.
- Glass : glass bottles and jars of all kinds
- Plastics and metals : PET bottles, plastic packaging, aluminium cans, tin cans and Nespresso coffee capsules
- Common special waste : used batteries, light bulbs (including neon tubes and LEDs), small electronic devices or household appliances at the end of their life.
Organic waste : Garden and kitchen waste (compost) can also be collected on request, for an additional charge per collection.
Bulky items : Bulky items that do not fit into a standard 30-litre bag are not included in the basic collection service. However, Ecotri Solutions Sàrl offers a dedicated service to collect bulky items on request - for example, old furniture, household appliances, mattresses, etc. These items are collected separately and Ecotri strives to revalue them (donation, recycling) in order to give them a second life where possible.
Collecting recyclables is as easy as subscribing to the Ecotri Solutions Sàrl subscription system, and involves just a few steps:
- Subscription : Download the mobile application Ecotri Solutions Sàrl on your smartphone, create an account and then take out a subscription tailored to your needs (quarterly, half-yearly or annual subscription). This service is aimed at both private individuals and professionals in the region.
- Planning : From the application, you can choose the collection date, frequency (e.g. weekly or monthly) and location for your recyclable waste. You can set the collection day yourself, from Monday to Friday.
- Home collection : On the agreed day, leave your recycling bags or containers, previously sorted by category (paper, glass, etc.), outside your door or at the agreed location. You do not need to be present for the collection, as long as the waste is accessible. The Ecotri Solutions Sàrl team will collect the bags between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. (working hours) on the scheduled day. They will then take everything to an approved sorting centre in the canton of Vaud, where it will be recycled and recovered through the appropriate channels.
Note: Make sure you do not exceed the volume included in your subscription (e.g. 120 L for the Small offer) and that you separate the different types of material. Occasional surcharges may apply in the event of excess volume or non-compliant sorting.
For bulky items, you can also use the Ecotri Solutions Sàrl mobile application. All you have to do is take a photo of the bulky item(s) you would like to have removed (such as a piece of furniture, an appliance no longer in use, etc.), and then send your request for bulky items to be collected via the app. The Ecotri Solutions Sàrl team will then contact you as soon as possible to arrange an appointment for the home collection.
Depending on the size and weight of the items, there are two possible scenarios: if the bulky items can be handled by one person, an Ecotri employee will be able to collect them during a normal collection round (on your regular collection day). However, for very bulky or heavy items requiring two people, a special appointment will be made outside the usual rounds. In all cases, Ecotri Solutions Sàrl will do all it can to recycle or reuse bulky items rather than throwing them away, in order to reduce waste.
Ecotri Solutions Sàrl's services are available to all residents and businesses in the region between Lausanne and Geneva in French-speaking Switzerland. In concrete terms, the area covered corresponds mainly to the district of Nyon and the surrounding area.
To use the recyclable waste collection service, you need to register via the Ecotri Solutions Sàrl mobile app and take out a home collection subscription (with a minimum three-month commitment). Once you have subscribed, you can plan your collection days as you wish (Monday to Friday). It is essential to sort your waste by type (paper, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic, etc.) before collection and to respect the maximum volume corresponding to your subscription package (e.g. 120 L per collection for the Small basic package). If you fail to sort your waste or regularly exceed the specified quantities, Ecotri Solutions Sàrl reserves the right not to collect certain types of waste or to adjust your subscription (frequency or package level) by mutual agreement.
The bulky goods collection service operates on request and does not require a regular subscription. It is open to customers (private individuals or businesses) in the same geographical area. All you have to do is submit a one-off request via the application when you need your bulky items collected. Ecotri Solutions Sàrl will then assess your request and agree with you the details of the operation (date, estimate, etc.).
Prices : The recyclable waste collection service operates on a subscription basis. The entry fee is CHF 29 per month, which covers a volume of up to 300 litres of recyclables (around five 60-litre containers) collected from your home. This price includes the sorting and recycling of your waste through the appropriate channels. Some specific types of waste may incur a slight additional charge: for example, the collection of green waste (compostable garden waste) is offered as an option for an extra CHF 10 per collection if you request it. In the case of exceptionally large volumes or special conditions, a price adjustment may also apply (a quote will be sent to you before the service is carried out).
The bulky goods collection service is invoiced on request. The cost depends on the volume and nature of the items to be removed. The basic rate starts at around CHF 89 for a standard service, the exact price being confirmed on quotation after assessment of your request. This amount includes the journey to your home, the collection by the Ecotri team, and the sustainable management of the objects recovered (reuse, recycling or proper disposal).
Areas served : Ecotri Solutions Sàrl operates mainly in the canton of Vaud, in and around the district of Nyon. Among the communes regularly served are Nyon, Gland, Rolle, Coppet, Prangins and many neighbouring towns. If your municipality lies on the Lausanne-Geneva axis but is not explicitly included in the list of areas covered, you can still submit a service request. Ecotri Solutions Sàrl will examine the feasibility of the intervention; if necessary, the service outside the usual zone may be accepted with a price adjustment to cover additional travel costs. Each out-of-area request will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis in order to offer a solution adapted to the customer in a spirit of flexibility.
